Posey Girl Flowers helped make our wedding dream a reality! Lush bouquets and table arrangements graced our wedding. Susannah was wonderful to work with! She was flexible and willing to work within our budget and timeframe. She also set up other decor and elements that were part of our theme and everything turned out beautifully! She is a true professional and her passion in her work shows. I would highly recommend working with her.

I saw an ad in the Westword for Posey Girl Flowers, and decided to stop in since it was a local non-corporate business. Susannah was such a sweetheart and very engaged in what my vision for my bouquet was. I let her know upfront that I was on a budget and she totally respected that. To save on money, I had all the bridesmaids bouquets made out of fake flowers and mine was the only real one. If I could go back and change that, I would have had Susannah make all of my bouquets. I absolutely loved how Susannah put her own artistic spin and personal touch on my boutque. I would never have thought that the combination of flowers and foliage would mix and pop so well. With all the stress that goes into a wedding, working with Susannah was so stress free. I didn't have to worry about if my bouquet was going to be done in time. That's what I really liked about Susannah too, is that she understands that weddings are stressful and she made sure that I didn't need to worry about a thing. She was also very friendly to my daughter and included her in our conversation. Susannah even took the the time out to let my daughter see her two very cute dogs. I got many compliments on my bouquet and made sure to take many photos with it. I was 100% impressed, not only with my bouquet, but everything about the service, to the warm filled vibe of the store. I highly recommend Posey Girl Flowers.

Susannah is awesome. My wedding was on June 4th 2011 and she took care of all of the flowers. We had recently switched from another flower vendor and came to her a month before the wedding asking if she could do the flowers. In that month she managed to quickly come up with a beautiful and incredibly unique design for my 200 guest wedding. She incorporated led lights in some of the arrangements and in the out door fountain and used flowers that I am sure most people have never heard of before. Her creativity is unmatched so far as my searching has gone and she is more than pleasant to work with. There is no one I have had a consultation with who knows their field better than Susannah. She is truly gifted in her art and I have nothing but the highest of recommendations to give her. I would love to work with her again in the future.

When Susannah handed me my bouquet in the dressing room, tears started to well up in my eyes. It was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever held in my hands. I never knew so much thought and consideration could go into creating floral arrangements. I had only 3 weeks to organize my wedding, so I was overwhelmed with options. Susannah was extremely patient and helped guide me through the entire decision making process. I had only vague ideas, but Susannah knew exactly what questions to ask to help bring clarity to my vision. I am so grateful that Susannah was there for me.

What a pleasure to share my Posey Girl experience! I never could have imagined the magnificence of what Posey Girl created for my wedding. Her responsiveness to my wishes, her realization of my dreams, her attention to detail, her creativity, and most of all, her heartfelt vision made for a tremendous outcome. I’m sure that I must be one of the more difficult clients. I have specific tastes but no suggestions, I don’t know what is “in season” when, I have no idea about color or what “goes with” what…all in all, I am quite particular but provide no guidance whatsoever. Oh, and I have extremely expensive taste but refuse to spend any money. Could it be any more challenging? Not to mention that I am impossible to reach via phone and hardly ever have time to check my personal email….so I wasn’t really the most communicative or collaborative bride. Through all of this nonsense, Posey Girl provided tremendous support and guidance. She listened carefully to my desires and came up with numerous suggestions. She educated me about the blooms in season during my winter wedding and she helped me think through color that would be appropriate to the venue, the wedding party attire, the time of day and the level of formality. As the day drew closer, she made me sample bouquets and emailed me photographs so that I could approve the color and blossom combinations. She was extremely patient and upbeat throughout a period that was very stressful to me (and many around me). And she kept me organized. Our wedding ceremony was at a rather simple church, but our reception was held in a very grand, historic location – and she was amazing at developing a vision for both locations – something I never could have done without her help and her designer’s eye. Because my wedding reception was so large (about 200 people), there was a lot of labor involved in creating the arrangements, setting up and cleaning up and she brought assistants who were just as capable and gracious as she – which I really appreciated, because I tend to get nervous when people I don’t know get involved in an important event! The night before the wedding, we also had a rehearsal dinner, which was sort of a last-minute affair, and I had totally forgotten to plan anything for it! Of course, a couple of weeks beforehand, I started to think that flowers might be nice, so I called Posey Girl to ask if she might be able to help with that too…she was very kind and accommodating and agreed to help, despite her busy schedule that week. When I told her that I had no concept of what to do in terms of colors or design, she offered up several creative ideas and I just told her to run with it…by that point, I knew that she understood my style. This was a very small, intimate dinner and she made these lovely, simple centerpieces that were just perfect. Obviously I was very pleased with the formal outcome or the “results,” as they say – but more than anything, I must say that I was overwhelmed with the beauty of what she created and I still cry when I think of how gorgeous everything looked. And how many people receive letters of awe from their wedding guests, letters which always mention the glorious flowers?! Needless to say, I would recommend Posey Girl for any of your special occasions – whether large or small, simple or grand. She has a tremendously creative eye, a great appreciation for the natural beauty of flowers, a warm and caring style and a very professional approach to the business. She skilled at developing a plan that accommodates her client’s design wishes and budgetary constraints. We had the best wedding ever with the help of Posey Girl Flowers. We had been planning our wedding for several years because we were waiting for Halloween to fall back on a Saturday. I had been referred to Posey Girl from a friend who had used her for her wedding and when I got in touch with Susannah it was perfect chemistry. She found and gave us the best atmosphere for our Halloween wedding. I still have my bouquet set up in our house as a reminder of the wedding. I had a lot of dried flowers and gourds, pumpkins, vines and faery lights for our tables and decor and I just can't say enough about her. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She made our venue just beautiful.

The flowers were stunning and I didn't have to do a thing! Susannah is very talented and professional.
