Intricate Icing is AMAZING!!! They were so helpful and did a wonderful job on our wedding cake!!! Their cakes are SO good!!! The cakes have so much flavor and moist!!! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. When we had our consult with them we showed them some pictures of what we were thinking and then told them to use the creative side and they did! I completely trusted them to do a wonderful job and they did! We would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again!!

Fantastic and extremely gorgeous cake! Rachel went with our idea and made it completely unique and perfect to fit our special day! Everything we had was rustic, and we couldn't get enough comments on how the cake fit into everything in the room and scenery at the venue. Thank you for adding to our great wedding day memories! Rachel was wonderful!! She accommodated our VERY last minute request for a cake and worked with us to design an amazingly beautiful cake, that was exactly what I dreamed of!!!! I am sooo happy we went to her and have told everyone about her and will continue to do so!

It was amazing!!! As we all know, wedding cakes are expensive but this cake was worth every penny!!! We loved it! It followed our theme exactly and even though I hated to cut it we just had to because we knew that we would not be disappoint with the amazing flavor. Rachael and everyone at Intricate Icings did an AMAZING job at my wedding. Starting with just the initial taste test I knew they were the ones for the job. She not only listened intently but drew sketches as I talked to make sure we were on the same page. They ended up doing the main cake, a groom's cake and a sweet 16 cake that were all very different, but all incredible! We even had a total of 5 different flavors of cake with different fillings in each and they were all simply to die for. Rachael was not only amazing in the decorating and flavors she provided us with but she really did make it all so easy for us, she was always very reponsive to emails, and very professional (not to mention funny and personable). I even changed the groom cake design at one point and it didn't even phase her. They are awesome and I couldn't have found a better place to do my cakes on this day!!!

If I could give more than 5 points, I would!! Intricate Icings was incredible. Rachael is so unbelievably talented and so wonderful to work with. At first, I wasn't quite sure what I wanted the cake to look like, so she asked some questions, got to know me and then made the most beautiful cake of my dreams!! She included parts of my wedding dress that made it so unique and meaningful and then added gorgeous ribbons and additional designs. Sho was so wonderful at making suggestions as well as making changes that I wanted. The look of the cake was breathtaking and the taste matched the beauty of the outside. Everyone LOVED it! I would recommend her to absolutely every single person!!

Loved the cake, loved the people. The folks here are super easy and friendly to work with. We had tried their Zucchini Lime cake at a bridal show and were totally blown away. The hardest part was choosing flavors! We ended up going with the zucchini lime with cream cheese filling and the lemon cake with pineapple curd filling. For the day of, the cake was beautiful, moist and delicious. We loved the mountain themed icing and got plenty of compliments on how yummy it was. Bonus: no need to save the top layer – they bake you a small cake on your 1 year anniversary

Rachel and her staff were amazing. The cake was so delicious and looked beautiful. It was just like we pictured, and she was very helpful. We weren't positive what we wanted when we went in, but she help guide us and work with us to find what we wanted and to fit our budget.

Rachel at Intricate Icing is absolutely amazing! From the beginning cake tasting to the wedding she was absolutely wonderful. She has such a great heart and truly wanted to make us happy. She developed our cake from a picture I had found that was Asian inspired. We had three different flavors, and a sheet cake in the back as well. She was willing to work with us on everything to customize our cake experience!!!! Rachel is truly an artist and we would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing cake!

I would highly recommend Intricate Icings for any cake, for any occasion. We had a 3 tier wedding cake and it was amazing. The look, the taste, everything was beyond our expectations. We received many compliments from our guests about the cake throughout the event. My husband and I were also impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness. I had looked through hundreds of pictures of cakes, and couldnt find what I wanted. Then I went to the Quality Hill Wedding show, and met Rachel, picked up her brochure, and instantly saw the cake I had been looking for. She and her staff recreated the masterpiece for us; it was both beautiful and delicious. Their zuchinni lime cake is to die for! Our cake was done in fondant, which also tasted great. I would highly recommend Intricate Icings. They were such a pleasure to work with. They are the best of the best.

Intricate Icings was wonderful to work with all around! They recently did our wedding cake and grooms cake for our May 2011 wedding, and both had guests raving about the cakes all night. For the grooms cake they remade our lab puppy and even captured the way he wrinkles his forehead! The cakes looked amazing, tasted great, and working with Intricate Icings was perfect as well. We look all around at different cake places in Denver and I can tell you that Intricate Icings is in a league of their own- they much more professional than any other place we looked at and they do the best work around. You won't be disappointed by these gals!

Amazing! Rachael gave such great creative input in creating a wedding and groom’s cake. (So refreshing after negative consultation elsewhere). Rachael really wanted to know what I wanted in our cake and what look I was going for. Gave various options that were able to work within my budget! Great communication from business side with contract and payment.
We also got cake pops for our favors that were wonderful.
People are still commenting on how great our cakes were!
Totally worth the drive to Erie. You won’t be disappointed.
