Historic Pinecrest

Historic Pinecrest is an absolutely gorgeous venue with amazing people. I had not one complaint about Pinecrest and my guests raved about how beautiful the chapel and event center were. We stayed at the Lodge and everyone loved that as well. Maria, the ceremony coordinator, is so sweet, so helpful, and really knows how to make the ceremony go off without a hitch. She knows what looks good and is willing to work with you to make your vision a reality. Jess, the photographer, owns Pinecrest with Maria and is amazing as well. He makes you feel comfortable and is so familiar with the venue that I'm positive my pictures will turn out beautiful. The whole staff is so helpful, works with you, and makes you feel relaxed. I didn't have to do anything the day of my wedding and wasn't worried for a second, I knew the Pinecrest staff would make my wedding amazing. The venue is very affordable, very gorgeous but also relaxed. I got everything I wanted. I love that Pinecrest allows you to bring other vendors in so you can have everything exactly as you want. But they also provide everything you could need so you don't HAVE to find different vendors. I absolutely loved everything about Historic Pinecrest. If you want a no-stress wedding that looks like months of stress, this is the venue to use.

Jess and Maria are exceptional, as is the rest of their team! The location is beautiful during any time of year - our wedding was 8.13.11. They made every effort to get to know my husband and I, felt out the energy the day of the event, and made sure feel, the flow and the fun were all there.If you don't at least consider Historic Pinecrest for your venue, you are missing out. Wonderful, wonderful experience!

We had our reception at Pinecrest in March 2011. The staff was very professional and easy to work with. Instead of a sit down dinner, we chose to have a cocktail buffet with heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar with dancing. Everything was perfect! Simply Delicious made our yummy wedding cake and they coordinated with our florist to make it beautiful as well. We used Cork and Bottle for our liquor and The Secret Window for our florist. Everything was delivered and set up to our expectations. The food was excellent and plentiful. I would use Pinecrest again! Thank you so much for giving us such a beautiful reception!

What an excellent place to have a wedding!! My husband and I could not have asked for a more friendly, flexible staff to work with. Since we are both in the military and living in different states, it was really tricky finding someplace that could accommodate our ever changing schedule and complicated requirement, but Pinecrest performed above and beyond any competitors. Also, the photography, food and DJ were all superb. Amazing work that's affordable for your special day!

Dear Wedding Wire,The Historic Pinecrest made our wedding day a dream come true. After having considered many different places for our wedding, we decided to go with The Historic Pincecrest. We couldn't have been more pleased!! They have an incredible staff to work with, and they all went the extra mile to make it personal and exactly what we wanted - not to mention, the mountainous setting with a few wildlife sightings was an added surprise. The pictures that Jess took captured the feelings and expressions of joy that God had blessed us with. The wedding coordinator, Maria, orchestrated the ceremony to run smoothly, and Nikki did an awesome job of catering with the help of Norma and Tony in making sure the reception went exactly as we planned. One of the things that made our reception so much fun for everyone - young and old alike - was the photo booth that Pinecrest is now offering. So many people told us that it was such a fun activity. The pictures that the guests got to take home were a great way to remember our wedding. And, because we have an album of all the people who had their pictures taken in the booth, we get to enjoy again the great memories of our wedding. We want to also mention that Rob, the DJ, did a fantastic job being the sound man during the ceremony. At the reception he kept things moving smoothly. We don't think anyone could have done a better job than he did!! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the wedding and reception were, and we give that credit to Pinecrest and their staff. We give it a 5 star rating and would recommend your services to anyone!! Thank you to everyone at The Historic Pinecrest who made our wedding day such a beautiful and memorial event! If I could rate Pine Prest higher then a 5 I would. I loved everything about the event center and my wedding day. The staff and venue were absolutely perfect. Jess is a wonderful photographer and Maria is a fabulous coordinator. Any questions I ever had prior were answered right away. I was never left wondering what things were or what was going on. Anyone married at Pine Crest will have a very blessed and timeless day!

Beautiful setting and we could not have asked for a better day. Would do it all over again at Pinecrest!

First all I can say is... WOW. I loved every minute of being with Jess and Maria. I am SO glad that my husband and I decided to get married here. :) Jess and Maria are the two most helpful, wonderful, amazing people. They really are ment to do this and they really do care about you as a person. I felt and still feel loved and cared about by them. It was a great experience overall. :)

Choosing Pinecrest was the best decision we ever made.It let my wife and I enjoy the whole wedding.Everything was taken care of down to the last little detail. Maria did an exceptional job making sure everything went smooth, Jess took great pictures and seemed to be at the right place at the right time, Got some great shots!! The food was also great Nikki did a great job. I would highly recommend staying at the lodge the night before and the night of the wedding. It gave us time to relax with friends and family the night before and everything was right there the day of the wedding. Pinecrest is THE place to get married. A one stop shop for most of your needs, it is both QUALITY and AFFORDABLE! The owner Jess and his wife Maria are fantastic, and are both fun and pleasant to work with. We had a double wedding with mine on a Saturday and my brother's the next day, so we had pure chaos with family from all over the U.S. flying in and staying at the lodge. There were plenty of unforeseen issues, miscommunications, and all around chaos but every Pinecrest staff member helped us handle it with professionalism, kindness, and grace. They were flexible, negotiable, and I feel so blessed to have found them. And BTW the catering is some of the best food we've ever tasted. We had the lasagna and other italian items for our rehearsal dinner and the chicken marsala/spinach alfredo for the reception and it was fantastic! DO NOT get an outside caterer as it is a waste of money and Pinecrest delivers better food at a better price. They also have a good relationship with many vendors in town and you can get 10% off your liquor with a refund for unused quantities if you go with Cork & Barrel liquors in Monument. Gosh I can go on and on but I think you get the point! :^)

My experience with Pinecrest was mixed. I truly did have a wonderful time at my wedding. The DJ was AMAZING and the food was great. It was also very convenient to have the packaged deals available. I loved not having to book separate vendors for everything. Overall I would say my experience was good. That being said, however, there were several things that I was very disappointed in. The team is very disorganized. I would have to tell each person what I wanted because it seemed like no one on there staff communicated with each other. This disorganization unfortunately lead to some very important aspects of my wedding being forgotten. However, to their credit, they were very apologetic for their mistakes and did everything they could to make up for it. Secondly, do not go to Pinecrest for their photography. Although the packages they offer are very convenient the quality of their photographs is a tradeoff that you will have to make. Don't get me wrong. I would HIGHLY recommend Pinecrest as a wedding venue. It is a great value for the price! However, I want future brides to know what they are getting before they sign their contract. Read the contract carefully, and understand that you will have to be more organized yourself than they make it sound.

The Pinecrest staff is totally awesome to work with. They take care of the details and you can enjoy the beautiful setting for your wedding with your guests. If we were to do it again we would definately go to Pinecrest. You won't be disappointed.

We absolutely loved Pinecrest. The beautiful and natural feel of the buildings was exactly what we were looking for. Maria and Jess were wonderful to work with, and Nikki's food was delicious! Toni was a huge help to us in setting up, and the staff at the reception took care of everything. We enjoyed ourselves and didn't worry about a thing. Rob the DJ also did a great job. Our 120 out of town family and friends loved Pinecrest as well. High recommend!Kristi King Richardson

They are not only extremely helpful and organized but they make you feel like you've been friends with them forever! The food was AMAZING and they took care of all of it for me! And Jess took the most beautiful pictures!

Working with Jess and Maria was the best experience! They and their staff make everything so easy, the whole process almost seemed too good to be true. Reality did step in a few times and a few things did go wrong, but thats life, and Pinecrest tried their hardest every time to get things back the way they should be. It would be a mistake not to choose Pinecrest.

Everything about our wedding at Pinecrest was perfect. The staff and owners did everything they could to help us make this a day we will never forget. I can never thank them enough for the beautiful pictures and video, they will be treasured always. Everyone is still talking about the delicious food and the great DJ. Since we lived out of state they stayed in contact the whole time to set up when we could make it up there for our meetings. All we can say is THANK YOU Pinecrest for a truly magical day.
