David's is a great place for weddings. I went by myself to get my dress, and I was helped the whole way through. I would not recommend the alterations portion of David's, but for convenience and flexibility, I highly recommend David's. My favorite part? They have a file with your name, and it becomes so convenient for the bridesmaids and the bride to have the ability to pull up the status of every dress/accessory for your wedding. Great value of dress, too!

I would not recommend Davids bridal for bridesmaids dresses. They are very difficult to work with and they messed up with one of my girls dresses. They altered a wrong thing on the dress so a week of my wedding we found out that instead of the length of the dress they altered around the hips. We didn't have enough time to fix it.

David's Bridal is the center of wedding madness, but they are the mecca for wedding attire. I had a budget and styles in mind and I found what I wanted on their website and in the store. I thought I had narrowed my choice down to two, but the woman helping me, Rachel, pulled a discontinued dress for me to try and it was the one! She was great during the trying on process. Very patient and professional. I bought the dress, the bra, and the slip that I tried on with the dress. I came back later for a tiara and veil. I didn't feel the need to shop around even though I knew the store would be a mad house. The alterations women were great over all, though one of my fittings was a bit stressful with an impatient employee who wasn't really listening to me. David's Bridal is good at what they do, so just give in to it! :o)

Having been in three different David's Bridal stores, (Aurora and Fort Collins as well as this one) this is the best one. The service is not like a bridal boutique, but the service changes greatly depending on how busy it is when you go. When I went in to purchase my wedding dress, I received a great service and my saleslady was very helpful. However, when I went with my bridesmaids to purchase their dresses, it was VERY busy and the service was not as good. My dress was very beautiful for the money and required very little in the way of alterations (although I did have them done somewhere else).

I found it challenging to exchange stuff a month before the weddng when i had lost so much weight that i had dropped over 2 dress sizes and my bra and slip no longer fit. I was terrified that stuff would not come in on time when they told me it was "pushing it" to get things more than a week before the date. I also spent more on alterations than i did on the dress...

While I absolutely LOVED my dress from Davids Bridal, the store is definitely the not the same quality compared to a wedding boutique. When you set up an appointment to find THE dress, you share a DB associate with about 3 other girls, so there is a lot of time wasted, waiting for help from the associate. I was told to order my dress a size bigger, which I was not comfortable with. While I understand that most brides say they lose weight, and they really don't...If you do lose weight, the alterations are expensive!!! $80 each time you go, and if you wait until the last minute to have the alterations done one time, they will double or triple charge you for the work to make up. The one thing I was disappointed with was when you buy a $400+ dress, they do not include a wedding dress bag...you have to buy it, on top of the dress. Otherwise your dress will be given to you in a clear dry cleaning type bag.

I tried on a lot of dresses and not at the walmart of wedding dress stores and ran in to rude, stuck up,sales people when I revealed I did not want to spend thousands of dollars on a dress I was going to wear once. My girls took me to David's. I was a skeptic at first, but after looking at a few dresses, and trying them on, I WAS SOLD! I bought the most beautiful classy dress that was exactly what I was looking for!! You don't need to spend thousands to be a queen for a day. Just ask my guest when they saw me in that dress!!! They still are talking about it almost a month later. Thanks Davids!!!
