Celestial Event

Lou and Katja at Celestial Event did a WONDERFUL job for our wedding. It was more like hiring a wedding coordinator/entertainer then just hiring "a DJ." First of all, they met with us face to face a couple times before the wedding to plan everything out. They went over everything from schedule to layout of the reception and ceremony, they also were a great resource on stuff like how many bottles of champagne we would need to how many people would fit at each table. They had a lot of suggestions that we would have never thought about, like the key game, the shoe game (a huge hit), and personalized intros, which made our wedding so unique and special. They also came to our rehearsal and coordinated the whole thing so we know what to do on the big day. Everything ran so smoothly, we couldn't have asked for better help. I would highly reccomend them to any of my friends. Also as an added bonus, Katja was running around taking pictures and is sending them to us so we will have more memories to add to our collection. Lou and his wife Katia made our daughter's wedding so much easier and special for us. They handled so many little things. They are like having another wedding coordinator! They were there at the rehearsal, the ceremony, and for the reception. To say they are professional is an understatement. Lou wore a tux! They do much more than play music. They introduced the wedding party in style, coordinated dances and special events, and knew just the right music to play at just the right time. They are very flexible and spent plenty of time with our daughter and fiancée to know what music they liked and wanted, and plan anything out of the ordinary. They have lots of ideas to have a very special reception. Katia ran a photo booth during the reception which was a big hit as well. We had so many people comment on how nice Lou and Katia were during and after the reception. We highly recommend them!

Celestial Event was so kind and warming for the preparation of the wedding. Coming into a wedding without any knowledge of how to plan such an event was made MUCH easier with Celestial Event to help. We felt like our wedding was as exciting for Celestial Event as it was to us and that personal touch meant a lot. There were a few blips during the reception, but all in all, the day was spectacular and Celestial Event played a big part in that.

Celestial Event was the best DJ/MC we've ever seen. Lou & Katja were the best by far! They were very involved in helping us create the reception entertainment my husband & I had hoped and dreamt of. I would definitely recommend them to friends & family! Our friends are still raving about how our reception is going to be hard to beat. We've gone to a few more family weddings after ours and the DJ did nothing! It is incredible how just getting to know your vendor helps create the atmosphere. Lou was absolutely the best DJ/Master of Ceremonies/Entertainer that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had people in their sixties and twenties coming up to me saying in their experience of all their weddings (sometimes over 40) that Lou/Celestial Event was the best ever, and they were just amazed. The reception was so small, and Lou made everyone feel so welcomed, entertained, and interested. I had people laughing so hard they cried, and took his ideas and practices for their own weddings. I literally heard more about the DJ than I heard about anything else. My husband and I were blessed to have found someone this great and get a referral from our venue to him. He was worth every cent. His pricing is such an amazing value for everything you get out of it. He is a reception coordinator, the entertainment, and the one you can count on to get what you want done. I am 100% satisfied with Lou and Celestial Event, and I am not easy to please. He is one of the only people I know that could appeal to every age group. I would recommend him and this company in a heart beat!

Lou was the DJ for our September 18th 2010 wedding at Mount Princeton Hot Springs. He was great. He helped me with all my events, was early to the rehearsal and the wedding and was such a big help. He is very organized and professional. Lou knows how to keep the party going. I would highly recommend Celestial Events for your wedding DJ.

Lou did an excellent job with the music for our wedding. He was profesional, on time and had great ideas to help us with our wedding music. Lou just DJ'd MC'd our wedding on June 5, 2010 and he was AMAZING! He was a completed lifesaver and took any concerns about the flow of the wedding, cocktail hour, dinner, reception out of our minds. The day was a whirlwind, but I can honestly say that Lou kept it flowing effortlessly. With so many people wanting to share their congratulations and well wishes, Lou made sure we stayed on track, getting people excited for...the Entrance, the Kissing Game, the Newlywed Game, the Dances, the Garter Ceremony, the Snow Ball and making sure we were there and ready! There was never a thought about when something was happening. We just listened for Lou or he found us. In hindsite, I realize how much coordination a wedding takes, and Lou did all of that. His hours spent on the phone with us getting details about our style, what we visualized, our wedding party history (and ours) and our family we're well utilized and the upfront effort he spent was obvious!People continue to comment about how great and personable he was and how his antics encouraged people to mingle and socialize and have fun! We had numerous comments that this was the best wedding people had ever attended. I belive that and know without a doubt that it would NEVER have been such a fun afternoon/evening for everyone without Lou at the helm. My only regret is that even adding and extra hour onto the reception (ending at 11pm), everything ended too soon. I have never seen so many of my family dancing and having a good time together, ever. It really was a night full of wonderful memories!THANK YOU Lou!!! :)

Lou did such a wonderful job with our reception!!! He met with us several times before the event and made it really really easy to put everything together!! He provided us with worksheets that helped us plan the order of events, and he had a ton of great ideas!!!! We were very pleased with his service!!! I didn't have to worry about a thing at the reception which really helped our big day go smoothly. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we got alot of compliments on how well planned and relaxed the reception was!!Thanks Lou!!!!!

DJ Lou provided an amazing service for us. We are truck drivers and the online tools to help pick out our schedule and songs was very useful as we were unable to have in person meetings. DJ Lou was also very helpful in answering all my questions by phone and he gave us great advice to make our day very special. Everyone of our guests complimented us on our choice of Celestial Events. They were very impressed by DJ Lou. Everyone also said that he made our reception one of the most enjoyable events they had ever been to.

Lou was the best DJ we could have asked for. He quite literally made our reception. It was so much fun! He kept things moving so there was no down time at all. He is just a very creative, fun guy. Several of our guests commented that he was one of the best DJ's they'd ever seen. Thanks, Lou!

Lou did an outstanding job. My guests loved him. He kept my wedding fun and upbeat, which was a hard thing to do since I had a small wedding made up mostly of old people. He had great ideas for a bouquet toss that was untraditional since I only had 3 single women at my wedding reception. He also had us play a newlywed game that was fun and entertained everyone there. He went above and beyond by dealing with my rude and mostly absent wedding coordinator and did a great job of trying to keep my wedding on time. I thank him and all he did at my wedding. Without him it may have been a disaster. I recommend him to anyone for any occasion. Thank you Lou.

Lou did an awsome job at our wedding! He did the ceremony music for us, as well as the reception music. The ceremony went perfectly, and the reception was a blast thanks to him! He kept the dance floor poppin' the whole night! (and our families and friends' don't normally dance much) While working with Lou, he always seemed excited to be doing the music for us. I think he really enjoys what he does, and this is the most important quality in a dj!!I will be recommending him to everyone in need of a dj..... Money WELL SPENT!

Professional, friendly, and fun- Lou made the party! It was by far the most fun I have ever had at a wedding, which I have been told is a difficult feat given that it was my wedding. Lou ensured that everything ran smoothly, made sure that everyone was included, and even got creative with props like hula-hoops and inflatable guitars. We have recieved countless compliments about how great of a time everyone had.
