Provided mariachi band for church service (Dia de los Muertos). Excellent to work with, very professional, and made for a great event.

Ellen and the string ensemble were hired for our wedding on Lookout Mountain. She was easy to work with leading up to the wedding but the day of the wedding her service was very disappointing. Since I was the bride and was behind the scenes and I did not see most of what happened other than one incident during my ceremony. Unfortunately my guests were the ones to provide feedback which has been extremely embarrassing. When the ceremony started, the ensemble played the "grooms" song prior to him walking down. When it was time for the groom to walk down, our guests heard Ellen talking and she was refusing to play any song at all since the selected groom song was already played. The groom walked down to NO music at all. Upon the ceremony ending, my guests witnessed one of the mariachi members (we had hired Ellen and the mariachis for our cocktail hour) pulling out a bottle of liquor from his coat jacket and drinking. For the money that we payed to have this group my husband and I and my guests were very disappointed.

Ellen and her accompanying strings were overall a great decision for our wedding ceremony! She responded to my communication, played the eclectic music selection I had requested, quite beautifully, and was very flexible and accomodating when I moved the ceremony time up 30 minutes! Thank you for adding warmth and atmosphere to our wonderful wedding ceremony!

I had always wanted to have strings play for my wedding, and am so glad that I found Ellen and Amadeus Strings Ensembles to play for my wedding. I had a violin and cello duo, and was amazed by how beautiful they sounded in the church. They exceeded all of my expectations and Ellen is great to work with-it made the wedding so perfect. I would recommend them to anyone looking for music for a special occassion, and would love to hear them play again in the future. Jeff and Jennifer-married 5/30/10

Ellan Jaramillo showed up an hour late for our ceremony and did not answer our phone calls as we tried to contact her. When she did show she also yelled at our guest in the MIDDLE of the ceremony asking what color our bridesmaid dresses were (who were then walking down the aisle) And then She yelled out AGAIN demanding that they all stand for the Bride, when I was coming around the corner in just a few seconds. All of which was caught on my ceremony viedo. Then she preceded to follow us (the Bride and Groom) after the ceremony begging for gas money after we already paid her $100 deposit. I believe this woman should be ashamed of herself and should not be calling herself a professional. I recommend to Wedding Wire to take her off their website and for any bride and groom to NOT HIRE HER!

A long time personal friend of mine, Ellen and Amadeus String Ensembles played for my family member's wedding, and her trio sounded absolutely wonderful. I felt very proud to have referred her to them and work with her on this important family event.

This is our third time using Amadeus String Ensembles, and again, we are thoroughly delighted. Whether it be for our family party, our holiday party, and now our son's wedding, this group proved their talent and professionalism over and over again. We recommend them highly to anyone and everyone!

Something on this website page looks strange here. My groom and I used Amadeus String Ensembles on 9/5/2009 for most of the day, and had some them as our guests at our reception. The quartet was a wonderful part of our ceremony and reception. I do not see how someone else can claim to have had them on this date or even do a poor job. They were 100% wonderful to us and we recommend them highly and would use them again if we had to.

I had originally hired a violin/mandolin duo for my best friend's bachelor party. They were great, so great that the groom asked me to book them again for the ceremony. His bride wanted a string trio, which they offered. It was beautiful, and Ellen, the manager, was very easy to work with. I would definitely hire them again for anything in the future.
