In today’s world, brides have an ocean of choices at their fingertips when planning a wedding. Not so very long ago, they relied on the phone book (what’s that?), family and friends and wedding magazines. Today, many of you plan your weddings at your computer during work. While you use the internet and not the phone book (unless of course your computer or iPhone is down), many of you (>39%) still rely fairly heavily on the wedding magazines. And of course, your family and friends are always there to give advice and support. When it comes to choosing a wedding planner, you need someone with experience. You want someone who knows what they are doing; who will know who to call or what to do should the frosting on the cake start melting or who can quickly make up a boutonniere because one is missing; someone who will remain calm in a situation that would send you, the bride, into a panic because that something is ruining your perfect day. Everyone is on a budget so cost is always a big consideration when making any of your wedding choices. However, when looking for your wedding planner, factor in what “product” they are offering you, not just the price. I offer you my years of experience as a planner – both in the corporate world and in the wedding world. My “product” is me – the service and care that I give to each and every one of my brides is unique to me. Remember the saying “you get what you pay for”? In many cases it’s true.
